I'm going to the NJ Sheep Breeders show on Saturday and Sunday this week. I help a friend run her booth (she sells her home grown fleece and some commercial products) and demonstrate spinning in her booth. This year for the first time I will be entering two skeins in the skein contest. The show is under cover at the Flemington Fairgrounds (of course one year we were under WATER at the Warren County Fairgrounds...nothing like the smell of wet sheet and frantic dogs...sheep don't float) so we should be dry.
Anyway, when we went to the sheep and wool festival it was raining, so I hear ya. It was great though. I got a fabulous basket that I use almost every day, and I got a beautiful spindle too. Two, actually, though one is officially my daughter's if she ever learns to spin.

Can I come to your house to play? Seriously. Ah but that was yesterday. I'bet it' all gone by now.
Yep, all gone. But I have plenty of wool that's waiting to be spun. :D
